Tadpoles! lol
Cool 3D model of Drosophila:
that’s really cool! I should ask if they’d be willing to share for animations!
idk abt them but in here: 3D Fly Models | TurboSquid you can find plenty of models from free to very expensive, and animation ready, fully rigged, textured etc.
All the Medulla Intrinsic Neurons (Mi 1s) from both optic lobes via Emil Kind [warning takes a long time to load!]

When youre working on a big cell over the course of a few days and the black lightbulbs start to appear ;~;
Wooooo! I almost never managed to get one of these milestones in eyewire, hah. I do so loooove my T cells, lol.
Yes! T cells are the best And they are also the most popular ones, according to this chart:
Paywalled source: Neuronal diversity and convergence in a visual system developmental atlas | Nature
most popular ones for synapses…or by fw ppl? lol
In optic lobe, lol.
they are very prolific, yeah.
Probably the biggest merger in the whole FAFB dataset (optic lobes for scale). I’ve called it Moria
https://ngl.flywire.ai/?json_url=https://globalv1.flywire-daf.com/nglstate/5668832655966208
Warning: it’s only one segment, but consists of 8419 chunks and downloads about 150MBs.
And another interesting structure in the central brain:

I didn’t cut the segments (obviously), there isn’t any misalignment or a black slide. This half-globe of synapses is shaped this way naturally. There’s also the other half looking the same. It’s almost like a brain within a brain with it’s own lobes.
Woww that is crazy!
Fun fact: this includes the esophagus, which is a giant tube running from the mouthparts to the gut, right through the hole in the center of the brain. You might even be able to find some food inside it. As you can imagine, the AI had no idea what to make of it. : ) It’s merged with a lot of glia.
(Referring to the first post above, “Moria”.)
Emil said this of these cool cells:
"These are cells also innervating the CX (central complex). In this particular case the PB (Protocerebral bridge), the FB (Fan-shaped body) and the NO (Noduli). This paper is a good reference for everything CX connectome: https://elifesciences.org/articles/66039."
