Wow, such a big beautiful cell! I think it is an Olt (Optic Lobe tangential) type.

So those black areas could be cracks in the dataset that happened during imaging and/or something else that could cause accumulation of staining solution in those spots.

Another so complicated cell to check

143 clusters at my count when submitted (a non scientific count and I’m sure I missed a couple).

I’ve got one of those, too! Been working on this on and off for the past ~2 weeks. There are still holes that are for sure missing some branches, but I can’t find anything to connect there. I already filled some other holes though. I did not count the clusters, but just from looking at it, it seems a very close contender to AzureJay’s!

And here’s an image of both these cells together in the brain.

They do look very similar! I took a picture of the backbone only before I started piecing it together (this was still missing one or two branches but it’s the mostly complete backbone).

My biggest splitting (so far and by far). It took over 200 points and about half an hour to mark the points, then over 3 minutes of the cutting itself and 2 more minutes unitl all new meshes were rerendered.

Cool soma merger with some big misalignments:

Edit: and after splitting:

(and yes, I’ve deliberately chose colors to make it look like an egg with some greenery  )

i did get this supposedly finished cell

but after looking at the pictures in here it looked a bit empty so after a carefull examination this is what i got

still looks like it might be missing a major branch, but not found it so far

Excellent catch in thinking this cell needed a bit more added to it!

I found one cluster in pink that fills in some of that missing area, there may be more to add nearby?

Too large to cluster count. Gorgeous larger cell!

It’s a LAWF! (Laminar Wide Field interneuron)

Aha! Guess that’s my first lawful LAWF! For some reason I thought the structure wasn’t quite right for it but after looking at example cells yep, that matches!

Here’s a cool cell. Not sure what it is yet! Edit: It’s a merger! XD

I’m seeing this type of cells (mergers) very often

I found this guy on one of my very first cells! Not to anthropomorphize too much but totally can see the eyes and face and arms and legs!

I think this cell was a bit confused on where it wants to go…
