Sorry I’m using pivot tables here and so far I haven’t found an easy solution for combining the leaderboards. I may tinker around with these at some point if I have time but I can’t promise anything.

sure thing. But it doesnt have to be anything too complicated, ie:

MF Overall. Leaderboard

AzureJay E3 +
Nseraf: B5 + E3
Kfay B3 + E#
KK B4 + E#

etc, then when part 3 comes along + H#

But, I do understand fully if you are low on avail. time!

Sure, I can do something like that. It won’t reorganize automatically like the other lists, but it could be a fix for total numbers for right now

yeah thats fine, or it could be a manual addition once part 2/3/4 etc are finished or whatever. Thanks!

Actually I just realized this isn’t going to work because the other columns are dynamic and it can’t look at a specific cell while they move around. I’ll think on it.

they shouldnt move when the part # is finished, ie: i doubt part 1’s are gonna move since all 2000 entries have been finished. (part 2 isnt yet but give us 3-4 days lol).

Anywho it isnt obvs any kind of a priority, just would be nice to have at some point.

Nevermind I figured it out, as long as everyone sticks to standard naming conventions it should work successfully

lol, well ok then.

hmm for some reason leaderboard part 2 isnt registering KK’s entries starting from line 1001.

looks to be working to me,

yeah it is now.

Yup, as KK posted if there’s no change then no need to paste an ID. Just mark it as MF or not-MF and move along!

We don’t have coordinates for this actually. Just the segment IDs - there aren’t any duplicates in that Master sheet that we are releasing new tasks to you from.

However, as you mentioned it may be possible that we have two “halves” that are listed as two tasks. But we’ve come across this before in other datasets (in some ways it was very useful for certain Optic Lobe cells to connect across tricky spots). Unfortunately, there’s not a quick way to re-run new Seg IDs posted by folks as we’d have to look up the history of those new Seg IDs and compare their original SegIDs in our Master sheet. The good thing is we can very quickly mark an already proofread segment as done and move on.

The segments in this list were all gathered based on their synaptic connections.

looks like part 2 of the challenge is completed with the following status on the tasks

54 Too Small 0 review
1786 MF 5 need help
149 not MF 2 Unsure

4 tasks is still beeing worked on.

Hello and congrats on completing Pt 2 of our Mossy Fiber Challenge! We’re now up to 4,000 tasks with 3,934 mossy fibers identified! :broccoli:

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the leaderboard tab, here’s our current top Mossy Fiber Masters!

Total MF Leaderboard
Player Name Mossy Fibers Completed
KrzysztofKruk 1438
Nseraf 979
annkri 810
Kfay 529
JousterL 464
AzureJay 60
Grand Total 3934

As some of you may have noticed, Part :three: is now up with the next batch of 2k!

Minor Update:

If you have a partial Mossy Fiber branch or floating Mossy Fiber bouton in the middle of the dataset that we are unable to find any branch extensions for due to errors in the slides, please feel free to mark the segment as MF and then set the “Proofread?” column to “incomplete” :yellow_square:.

PS. We’ll still use “Too Small” for any cutoff MF boutons as we discussed here and here.

Cheers and congrats again!

Wow ! I was on a week working rush, you certainly have made a lot of progress there !
Hope there’ll be enough for me to work on when i’ll be back

58.000 potential MFs at 2k per part it’s 29 parts, assuming there’s others working on these I’d say we have…roughly 15-20 more parts? Something like that lol
